Myanmar out of Mahasen Cyclone Danger

According to Myanmar's Meteorology and Hydrology Department Myanmar’s western Rakhine state is free from cyclone Mahasen when it hit Bangladesh coast when it crossed near Chittagong, Xinhua news reported.
Observers say that the cyclone was moving north eastwards and became a tropical storm.

Cyclone Mahasen brought strong winds and scattered rains in the state the whole day of Thursday. Fortunately there were no reported casualties of this disaster.

Around 70,000 people living in this state were moved to a safer and higher ground just so to avoid the perils this cyclone might bring, the report said.
