Myanmar football team to play a friendly matches with China

Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) is considering a friendly competition in Shanghai, China in the month of May with the intention of bagging the victory in the XXVII SEA Games in which Myanmar is the host country, Eleven Media news reported.

The federation is giving all-out training program to 26 youth players in a span of 10 days. Among this 26, only 8 players will be picked out to represent the Myanmar National U-23 football team for the SEA Games.

According to Park Sung-Hwa, coach of Myanmar National U-23 team, he is tasked to work for the training of Myanmar U-23 players. The 17 players came from AFC Challenge Cup and other players from Myanmar U-23 and they will be having a combined training program.

The Myanmar U-23 will undergo training in Shanghai from May 23 to June 11 and will play in qualified matches. Moreover, they have also considered playing in Myanmar National League in August and will start making big preparations for the forthcoming SEA Games, the report said.

Rigid training will be given out since the Myanmar national team will be divided into two groups. Handling the Myanmar football team (B) will be KyiLwin, the chief coach of Magway Football Team.
