The communal unrest that occurred in Meikhtila Myanmar has left 40 people dead. The reported fatalities were at 32, however as the authorities are clearing the area they have found out an additional eight bodies, according to news report from IANS.
The incident started last March 20 and lasted for three days. About 9,600 people were left homeless because of this occurrence.
A state of emergency was declared in that area. Burmese army helped stopped the violence and normalized the situation in that place.
