President Thein Sein of Myanmar will have its official trip to the White House next week. This is considered the first trip by Myanmar head of state in 47 years. The invitation came from President Obama, said news report from AP.
Members of the Congressional staff who were given details about the trip Thei Sein said that President Obama will meet him on Monday.
The government of United States were among the many countries that were supporting and encouraging President Thein Sein to introduce various reforms after the country has been under the military ruling junta after so many years.
Last November, President Obama became the first American president to visit Burma, AP news reported.
