Dear Honorable President
Firstly, I would like to congratulate you for winning of "Pursuit of Peace Award". This Peace Award represents all the citizens of Myanmar who joined hands and work together with government for achievement of Democracy reforms in the country.
I am also delighted to hear your statements that you kindly sent to awards ceremony in New York that "with help, support and assistance of the citizens of Myanmar and the International Community the advocacy on reform process will be continuously be implemented".
From time to time we could hear your highly appreciated announcement and broadcasting on the radio and on the television in ways of effective communications towards the citizens of Myanmar. If I may frankly highlight the issues with "Bird's-eye view", I may be wrong but I never came across to know about the Democracy process implementations and the reforms' surveys that how far we are now and how much we have achieved so far. I felt that the citizens of Myanmar have the right to know exactly where we are standing now. At present we kept hearing of conflicts and violence and uneducated extremists' activities.
At present, the citizens are experiencing undesirable conflicts and violence in the country, are not knowing exactly "what is Democracy" and "how the Democracy process should be positively implemented". I also would like to highlight that these are not domestic minor problems. I would strongly express that It is sort of system failure. The government has accountability and responsibility to protect any citizens of Myanmar from harms, risks and life threatening regardless of race, gender, religion belief in the community.
The public and the extremists must be clearly informed that this is unacceptable behavior and to remind them of the consequences on what they are doing now. The government should also use media communications that " all citizens of Myanmar regardless of race, gender, religion belief must comply with developing and transparency rules and regulations and the rule of law that support equality, diversity, peace and national security process".
Anyone who creates the scenes of violation, insulting and degrading humanity each other should have treated as a National Threat and must be punished without bias. The people who are creating violation and conflicts must stop their activities. Otherwise the International Community will have criticisms that ' Myanmar has no security or whatsoever ' to be able to set up a business relationship with Myanmar and not worth investing in there. In that case, we are degrading ourselves as we are unable to control our people who are extremists and are destroying the system and its failure.
Likewise, the group of 969. Our President should have a powerful authority to stop people from making harms to each other. People are trying to make abusive behavior and trying to discriminate and racist behavior on the other religion belief. Our President should have a power to stop people from making risks that will lead to destroying the stability of the country. Who they are? What are their aims and objectives? Who forms this? Who authorizes this group to do discriminations and racists activities? Who would be the accountable leader of this group?
By the way, Democracy does not include discrimination and racist. All citizens must have equal opportunities. Somebody is kept summoning anti-Muslim. Mob and looting are still going on in the country. It does not indicate that Myanmar is peaceful country. Why did our honorable President let these happen? It is all messed up in outcast areas and small villages.
What was a good reason for being anti-Muslims people who are living in the country as good citizens? What was the hidden agenda to be created instability in the nation? The people who are campaigning this, are untouched by the government authorities. Using loud-speaker and lousy talks and criticism are in the air and some followers may not be thinking wisely. Why is that? Only intelligent and educated people will think wisely and stay calm. However a few uneducated young people from villages and small towns will be likely to be the followers of the extremists.
The innocent children were killed. The innocent citizens were murdered by Mobs. This is not what we called "Democracy process and the reforms". The President used to say about the rule of law. These are consistently happening after saying of the rule of law.
I note from the President's peaceful talks to the public right after riot and conflicts in early April that "it is anticipated that sometimes it happens this sort of things during interim period of the reforms and transparency process". My humble thinking would be "it would have been looking ahead and planning ahead in case if this sort of undesirable conflicts and riots occurred, what would be a proactive business plan to be implemented. Each and every one of us noticed that since formation of 969 campaigns in the country, this is going to be destroyed the reforms and democracy process. Because people who formed this group do not realize that Human Rights does not include and encourage of anti-religion conflicts. Democracy process does not encourage inhumanity, bullying, assaulting, torturing, killing, destroying, deliberate looting other people properties and so fore.
There must a system of monitoring on groups or campaigns or association or any organization to ensure that no one is attacking personally or the religion belief or any harm to each other in terms of Democracy implementation process. The government must be strong enough to make a sharp decision to protect the citizens.
Sir, my humble suggestion to Home Ministry & Religious Affairs and the cabinet is that whoever creates the scene of anti-religion or any extremists should be removed from dangerous activities which would prevent from humiliation of the country and the government's dignity. They must be thoroughly investigated and punished accordingly to protect and to save thousands of lives. I am extremely concerned that if the government does take appropriate action on extremists, I am afraid, as a result, the Republic of Union of Myanmar (The Golden Land) will never be peaceful land in the world and Democracy process will be worthless and definitely be faded away.
